Club Nights and Open Mic Nights

In the light of the Prime Ministerial broadcast earlier concerning social gatherings, we needed to make a decision regarding Club nights and the open mic night. A quick poll indicates that the majority of members contacted feel that Open Mic nights should be cancelled for the (un)foreseeable future. There are many people in the vulnerable group both in the audience and performing and the official advice on reducing contact should be heeded. We will post on both here and on Facebook cancelling March 25th but will hold off for the moment on a decision on April.

Club nights seem to be undecided. Roger and Nicki say they are willing to meet on Wednesdays as usual. We think that if people wish to meet informally it’s up to the individual but we don’t think that as a club we should be meeting formally.

The Legion have a committee meeting tonight (Tuesday 17th) to decide their opening policy so matters may be taken out of our hands anyway.
